Ariana Radio and Television Network (ATN) has secured the exclusive broadcast rights for both the Winter and Summer Olympic Games in Afghanistan, bringing two of the world’s biggest sporting events to viewers across the country.

The first event will be the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, taking place in Italy from February 6 to 22, 2026. For the first time, Afghan viewers will be able to watch the Winter Olympics live on Ariana Television, featuring sports such as alpine skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey, figure skating, and many more.

This will be followed by the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympic Games, scheduled from July 14 to 30, 2028. The Summer Olympics will bring together thousands of athletes from more than 200 countries, competing across a wide range of sports on one of the world’s biggest sporting stages.
